SELECT FACET ROUGH The rough on this page are gemstones that have been selected because of their beauty, size, shape, and value. This is the best of the best! These gems are the absolute top of the line in color, size, rarity, and clarity. This type of rough almost never finds its way here to the U.S. and if it does, it is gobbled up by professional cutters here. Aquamarine Crystal. This crystal piece is absolutely flawless with a perfect soft blue hue. You could probably mount is the way it is! The picture can not do justice to this piece of rough. Don't delay! Measures 20mm x 15mm x 12mm and weighs in at 32.6 carats. Item No. 01-12511 SOLD!
Tsavorite Garnet. This variety of Grossular garnet is found in both Kenya and Tanzania. This particular piece is perfectly proportioned to cut an oval or emerald shape. Again, you just do not see this size on the market that often at 9.5 carats. Item No. 01-1269 SOLD!
Tanzanite. Arguably one of the most popular colored gems in the world today. Most of the rough found here in the US runs in the 1-5 carat range. Well we have a crystal point specimen of this variety of zoisite from Tanzania that comes in at 80.8 carats. This stone has not been heated yet and will yield one giant of a gem. Indicolite. This is the blue variety of tourmaline. Ours is a select piece that was just picked up as we were dazzled by the solid color and clarity. Measures about 18mm x 12mm x 8mm and weighs in at 17.7 carats. From Nigeria. Item No.01-168 SOLD!
Blue Green Tourmaline. This is some vintage Afghan rough that is a great example of this type of tourmaline. Not too dark, not too light with a clear green C axis. Measures 17mm x 11mm x 12mm and weighs 27.3 carats. 01-1657 SOLD!
